Seriously. He said that. Who writes his stuff? This guy cracks me up! He doesn't live in a bubble, he lives in an impenetrable fortress of reinforced ignorance.

I think John McCain is probably saying "Thanks, but no thanks" for the support. You'd have to be a masochist to run as referendum on Bush's policies.
